Project Highlight – A Modern Kitchen with Warmth at Its Core at Jia Residences, Seri Kembangan

A well-designed kitchen is more than a visual statement — it’s a space that supports everyday living, connection, and comfort.

For Mr Peter Goh, this modern kitchen was designed for his home at Jia Residences, Seri Kembangan, co-created in collaboration with Lina from our Petaling Jaya showroom. The vision was to create a kitchen that feels contemporary yet welcoming — practical for daily use while maintaining a sense of warmth and balance.

A Calm Modern Palette with Natural Warmth

This kitchen features a harmonious blend of olive green cabinetry and soft wood finishes, bringing a grounded, calming presence to the space. The clean lines of the cabinetry are balanced by warm tones, creating a modern kitchen that feels lived-in and inviting rather than cold.

Glass cabinet doors add visual lightness and depth, while allowing selected displays to subtly elevate the overall design.

Designed for Daily Use & Connection

At the centre of the space sits a functional kitchen island, intentionally designed to support everyday routines — from casual meals and conversations to meal prep and quiet moments throughout the day.

Every detail was planned with real living in mind:

• Clean-lined cabinetry for a timeless modern look

• Thoughtful storage solutions to keep the space organised and clutter-free

• Durable, easy-maintenance materials suited for daily use

Materials & Finishes

This kitchen design includes:

• Door material: Melamine and glass

• Tabletop: Porcelain surface for durability and refined elegance
