A unique and personalised kitchen where thoughtful design meets everyday functionality.
Located in Kampung Mengkuang Semarak, Penang, this kitchen was designed for Pn. Hayati by our consultant Ms. Ally Tay from the Bukit Mertajam branch — a modern contemporary kitchen crafted through close collaboration to reflect both lifestyle needs and personal taste.
 

A Personalised Design with Character

What makes this kitchen truly special is its strong sense of personality.
The use of light blue cabinetry sets a soft and refreshing tone, while rattan-patterned cabinet doors introduce a natural, timeless texture that reflects the homeowner’s personal preference.
These elements come together to create a space that feels warm, distinctive, and uniquely theirs.
 

A Balanced Layout with Multiple Functional Zones

The kitchen is thoughtfully designed across both sides of the wall, creating clear and efficient zones:

• L-shaped main kitchen area for daily cooking
• I-shaped secondary cabinet run dedicated as a baking station
• Central island acting as a preparation, dining, and gathering space

This layout ensures a smooth workflow while supporting different activities within the same space.
 

A Statement Island at the Centre

At the heart of the kitchen is a spacious island table, designed to bring balance and functionality to the space.
The island features:

• Porcelain marble-look tabletop for durability and elegance
• Seating for up to four people
• Additional storage to support daily use
• It serves as a multi-purpose hub — perfect for meal prep, casual dining, and family interaction.
   

Smart Storage & Integrated Solutions

Storage is maximised throughout the kitchen with a variety of thoughtfully designed features:

• Full-height cabinets to optimise vertical space
• A tall cabinet with 12-layer pull-out baskets for organised pantry storage
• Glass display cabinets to showcase selected items
• Integrated built-in oven and microwave for a seamless look

Every detail is planned to keep the space organised, efficient, and clutter-free.

The kitchen combines multiple materials to create depth and visual interest:

• Wood-textured melamine finishes for warmth
• Concrete slab and marble-look surfaces for a modern edge
• Black-framed glass cabinets for a sleek contemporary touch
